Ten years after its incorporation, MedicalConsult started its internationalization process on a sustained, coherent and rigorous basis, exploring the possibilities of expansion to international markets.
Prior to that, the company had developed occasional work abroad, in countries such as Finland or Israel, as a consequence of the expertise and international capacity building of elements of its team as instructors.
Acknowledging that this is a long process, with potential return only in the medium and long term, the company has prepared itself financially by increasing its equity capital. The year 2011 marks the begininng of the international operation on a permanent basis, working with solid projects that bring scientific and technical added value to the company and the countries involved (especially in the so-called emerging countries). Angola is our first international project in the areas of Radiotherapy, Radiation Protection and Nuclear Medicine. Regarding Individual Dosimetry, we are currently expanding our services to Romania. We have also started training sessions in the United Arab Emirates.
Our vision involves the integration of local staff in our teams, thus minimizing the negative impacts of being away from family on the personal lives of our employees, and valuing and creating highly skilled jobs in the countries where we set up our operation, also guaranteeing our clients financially sound and competitive opportunities.
